Lundgren to joing 'The Expendables'?

Sylvester Stallone's latest project is shaping up to be quite possibly the most awesome who's who of action movies ever assembled. A bold statement you say? Yeah, I agree, but you know what it's backed up. Sylvester Stallone, Jason Statham, and Jet Li as Mercenaries heading into the jungle to overthrow a dictator is rod inducing enough, but now the talk is that they are going to add Dolph Lundgren into the mix. I for one think this is an amazing idea, dude is still in amazing shape and has always been great in action movies even if he has had shit scripts to work with. Take a look at Universal Soldier or The Punisher, no I'm not kidding The Punisher. The movie was shit but he was convincing in the action scenes and did a good job with what he was given I thought. In any event I think this is an amazing addition to an allready great cast if it is in fact true. What do you guys think?

  1. I think this is a great idea. Hopefully Dolph will NOT be on the side of the angels in this.

Or he could play Ivan Drago, forced to atone for killing Apollo Creed by undertaking mercenary gigs with a shady government agency.

  2. Nah man, this is what they do... Make all of them good guys and have just one clear bad guy, he'll be in a base 20 miles from where they start. The entire movie will be like the scene from Commando when Ahhhnolld storms Bennetts base. Then, as they make it to the bad guy they all get a killing blow in and say an awesome one liner, ROLL CREDITS!

  3. It could be like the ending of Death Proof. They all take turns beating the crap out of the villain (wouldn't Bolo Yeung be awesome, even at his age?) then pump their fists at the end. Credits.

  4. AHHH HAAAA BOLO YEUNG!!! I didn't even think about him! This is genius, we should really call them up and see about some screenwriting credits on this one.
