The Final Kick-Ass Poster Revealed!

With Mark Millar and Matthew Vaughn's Kick-Ass only a couple short months away from release, the marketing is starting to wind down just a bit. Lionsgate has released, courtesy of the fine folks at Hitflix, the final one-sheet for the film. And it's definitely eye popping...

I love the way the colors pop right out at you. Group shots like this are always cool, and in general i've been pleased with the way Lionsgate has marketed the film. I know the source material pretty well, so I know that the film is far more gruesome than these posters let on. But the studio has found a nice balance by pulling no punches when it comes to the trailers, so they should find a nice cross audience of hardcore fanboys and average filmgoers. April can't come soon enough.
