Rumor Mill: Emily Blunt in Batman 3?

Yeah, this one's a bit gooey so just take it as a rumor for now, although if it happens I'll be pleased as friggin' punch. Batman on Film received a tip from the dreaded "industry insider" suggesting that Emily Blunt could possibly be up for the role of Selina Kyle in Christopher Nolan's upcoming Batman film. Selina Kyle is the real name for catburglar/Batman love interest Catwoman. Emily Blunt recently passed on a chance to play the female lead in The First Avenger: Captain America, and the speculation is that she might've done so to avoid any scheduling conflicts with the still untitled Batman film.

Keep in mind that nobody knows if Catwoman will even be in the film, so already attaching actors to any roles is silly at this point. However, she would be a great pick. Remember she was up for the role of Black Widow in Iron Man 2 before it was given to Scarlett Johannson, so presumably she has some experience(albeit on the losing end) vying for the role of comic book vixens.
