'Mystery Team' gets DVD release May 25th!

We had the trailer for this one a while back and man did it look hilarious. Unfortunately it didn't screen in the DC area so we've had to wait to see what it really had to offer. Good news today in the form of a release date for the DVD, it looks like Lionsgate will be dropping this one on store shelves May 25th for your home viewing pleasure. MYSTERY TEAM garnered impressive critical acclaim with its opening at the Sundance Film Festival. The film stars Donald Glover (TV’s “Community”), Aubrey Plaza (Funny People), Bobby Moynihan (TV’s “Saturday Night Live”), DC Pierson (TV’s “Community”), Dominic Dierkes (TV’s “Parks and Recreation”) and Matt Walsh (The Hangover). Originally formed at NYU, DERRICK Comedy’s five young members quickly rose to stardom via YouTube sketches that captured an incredible fanbase nationwide. DERRICK Comedy's debut feature film, MYSTERY TEAM, follows the adventures of three high-school virgins who are stuck solving childish whodunit mysteries in their neighborhood. But when these bumbling boy detectives are tasked to investigate a real murder, they see the ultimate opportunity to prove themselves once and for all.
