The Sunday Drive: 5/2/10

3. Kick-Ass
So Kick-Ass maybe didn't so much bully the competition as it did get slammed into the lockers, but it's still the craziest, most offensive superhero movie you're likely to see and a damn fun ride. Leave the kiddies at home.

2. Harry Brown
Michael Caine shows he's still full of piss 'n vinegar in this deliberately paced revenge thriller. Caine stars as an ex-Royal Marine with nothing left to live for, until the corrupt crime element in his neighborhood comes knockin' on the wrong door.

1. Exit Through the Gift Shop
The best time I've had being hoodwinked at the movies in years. World renowned street artist Banksy's documentary masterfully walks the line between fact and farce, first serving as an introduction to the mysterious world of street art, then pulling the rug out from under us by exploring the comical side of cultural fame.

DVD Pick of the Week: It's Complicated
I don't care what anybody says, Meryl Streep is one sexy broad. Even at her age, she shows she's still got the goods to turn heads, and in Nancy Meyers' new film she flaunts it all in a way she rarely has on screen. Alongside Alec Baldin as her bull-headed ex husband and Steve Martin as the guy who could be her perfect match, Streep plays a divorcee who's tired of living the safe life and dives headfirst into a scandalous but hilarious affair that threatens to turn her entire family life onto it's ear.
