RUMOR MILL: Could Sawyer be an Avenger? Josh Holoway in Talks with Marvel Studios

Lost might've ended it's glorious six season run on ABC just a couple of weeks ago, but it didn't take long for one it's stars to get found again, this time by Marvel Studios if Avengersnews.com is to be believed. According to them, Josh Holloway, who played the rogueish Sawyer on the show, has been contacted by Marvel for a major role in an upcoming film. No clue what the role could be, but considering Holloway is now a major known commodity you can expect it to be an important part. I'm guessing either Ant-Man or Hawkeye. Both characters would have major arcs in The Avengers, with potential spinoffs in the future.

Obviously this is one to keep a close eye on. Sawyer was one of my favorite characters on Lost, even if I felt that he got a little soft and mushy for awhile there. At one point Holloway was on the top of my list to play Gambit in X-men Origins: Wolverine.
