The Social Network teaser trailer

I don't think we've said anything at all on this site about The Social Network. For me, it was because I wanted to see exactly how they were going to make the subject of the founding of Facebook interesting. Based on this first teaser trailer released by Columbia Pictures, it looks like they're trying to play it as something of a thriller/horror. I'm sure it won't end up that way, but you gotta admit it's a little creepy with Jesse Eisenberg's spaced out mug fading into focus.  Kinda makes sense with the super moody David Fincher(Fight Club) at the helm.

The Social Network stars Eisenberg as Facebook founder, Mark Zuckerberg; Justin Timberlake as Napster founder, Sean Parker; Andrew Garfield as Eduardo Saverin; and the former Star Kid himself, Joseph Mazzello as Dustin Moskovitz. Its' based on Ben Mezrich's 2009 novel,
The Accidental Billionaires: The Founding Of Facebook, A Tale of Sex, Money, Genius, and Betrayal.
The Social Network is due to be released on October 1, 2010. Check out the trailer and tell us what you thought!
