Whedon confirms Renner as Hawkeye; Ruffalo as The Hulk

Unlike that Ant-Man story from yesterday, this one is confirmed to be fact. No more rumor shrapnel! Joss Whedon has confirmed that Jeremy Renner(The Hurt Locker) will be Hawkeye in The Avengers. This follows months of speculation stretching back to last year.

Also, Mark Ruffalo has finally signed on the dotted line . He'll be replacing Ed Norton as The Hulk, likely in multiple films as the length of his contractual commitment was a sticking point.
