Disney hires screenwriter for Pirates of the Caribbean 5

We learned last month that Disney was well on their way to planning the the next two Pirates of the Caribbean flicks, ensuring that we'll be seeing the adventures of Jack Sparrow for many years to come. Oh joy. Well the first step in that process is already underway, as they've hired Terry Rossio to pen the script.

Rossio's been on board since the very beginning, having co-written all of the previous four flicks. The latest, Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides will be hitting theaters on May 20th. It appears that Rossio may be flying solo next time around.
