New official logo for Jerry Bruckheimer's 'The Lone Ranger'

Funny that we get the first official logo for The Lone Ranger now just as The Green Hornet is about to hit theaters everywhere. Why? The Lone Ranger and The Green Hornet are actually distant relatives(the son of the Ranger's nephew), which I always thought was pretty cool. Another reason why I was hoping for a slightly more serious 'Hornet' flick, but I'll save my critique for tomorrow's review.

Anyway, Jerry Bruckheimer invited his Twitter followers to check out his new updated website, where the logo could be found for the Gore Verbinski(Pirates of the Caribbean) directed flick. Johnny Depp has been on board since day one as Tonto, but nobody's been named to play the Lone Ranger as of yet.  Check out a screen capture of the new logo below.
