* The bad guys seem to winning out when it comes to Hansel and Gretel: Witch Hunters. Earlier today it was reported(still a rumor but ok) that Ingrid Bolsø Berdal would be playing what was described as a "hardcore killing machine", now Deadline is reporting that Peter Stormare(Fargo) has signed on to play a "villainous town sheriff". He joins Jeremy Renner, Gemma Arterton, and Famke Janssen in the action packed continuation of the Brothers Grimm fairy tale.
* Hey, I hated the post-converted 3D in Clash of the Titans as much as anybody, but the fact remains Warner Brothers fucked up by trying to get it done in less than a month's time. We've known that the film's sequel, Wrath of the Titans, would be in 3D but in what form would it take? Now the director, Jonathan Liebesman(Battle: LA), has revealed that post-conversion 3D will again be the process. I expect better results now that there's plenty of lead time to get it right.
