Sure Shots: Julianne Hough; Jackass; Trent Reznor

* A movie I've completely ignored up to this point has been Adam Shankman's Rock of Ages, based on the popular Broadway musical centered around classic hits from the 1980s. Tom Cruise and Mary J. Blige have been locked in to star, with Russell Brand and Alec Baldwin rumored for roles as well. Now you can add one more to the cast: country singer and two-time Dancing with the Stars winner, Julianne Hough. Shankman most recently directed 2008's Hairspray. Hough was last seen in another musical, Burlesque, alongside Christina Aguilera and Cher. Thanks to The Wrap for that story.

* Paramount is staying in the Jackass business. After the whopping success of Jackass 3D, who can blame them? They've picked up two future projects starring the grown up MTV buffoons. Deadline reports that the two films are First Man, which sees Johnny Knoxville starring as a guy whos wife becomes President of the United States.  The second is Mustache Riders, featuring Knoxville(the refined "actor" of the Jackass crew), Bam Margera, and Ryan Dunn as three crooks searching for buried treasure. Willie Nelson plays an old outlaw who joins them. Broken Lizard(Club Dread) is on board to produce.

* How high must Trent Reznor be flying right now? The Nine Inch Nails frontman just joined the elite class of Academy Award winners for his scoring of The Social Network. Now instead of just scoring flicks, he might just be starring in them. Entertainment Weekly reports the rocker being in negotiations to not only do the music for Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter, but to have a major role as Jack Barts, the vampire who kills the President's mother and sets him on his demon slaying ways. Reznor is currently working on the music for Fincher's The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo.
