Addison Timlin in talks for Odd Thomas lead

Just last week we learned that Lily Collins(The Blind Side) was circling the female lead role in Stephen Sommers' adaptation of Odd Thomas, based on the Dean Koontz's best selling novel. But soon after Collins snagged a much bigger, more prominent role opposite Julia Roberts in Tarsem Singh's Snow White film, so count her out. So now Variety is reporting that Addison Timlin has entered talks to take Collins' place.

If signed, Timlin would star opposite Anton Yelchin in the titular role of a short-order cook with supernatural clairvoyance. He meets a mysterious man surrounded by dark forces and evil spirits, and goes off on a trek to track him down.  Timlin would play his best friend and soul mate, Stormy Llewellyn.  The Odd Thomas character has appeared in four Koontz novels and two graphic novel adaptations.

Timlin is probably best known as a recurring character in the Showtime series, Californication. She made her feature film debut in the Clive Owen/Jennifer Aniston thriller, Derailed, She most recently appeared on the big screen in the indie flick, Afterschool

Holy crap she's smokin'!! Why aren't I watching Californication? Oh yeah, because David Duchovny's annoying.
