The female villain role in Superman revealed?

A lot of buzz for a role that cold ultimately be very small but memorable is that of the mysterious female villain in the Superman film.  When the rumors first broke that a search was underway for just such a spot, everyone(including me) assumed it would be for Ursa, the female Kryptonian follower of General Zod. A number of names were thrown around such as Alice Eve, Rosamund Pike, and most recently Lindsay Lohan. But with Zod not confirmed to be the chief villain, it's unlikely Ursa would show up. So is it possible that Superman could be facing a bad girl a bit more..ordinary? A tweet from Toros Views' Eltorolatino seems to indicate just that.

"according to HOward Stern, auditions are being held for lex luthor and miss Teschmacher"

Since I don't listen to Stern anymore I'm going to assume he mentioned this on his show.  But assuming it's true it would actually fit in quite well with yesterday's story regarding Lindsay Lohan's screen testing with potential Lex Luthor, Adam Harris. For those who don't remember Ms. Eve Teschmacher, in Richard Donner's Superman: The Movie, she was Lex Luthor's evil socialite assistant/sidekick. She was played by Valerie Perrine, who actually earned a Best Supporting Actress Saturn Award for the performance.  While I couldn't see Lohan as Ursa, I can damn sure see her as Teschmacher. She's basically a Mean Girl who grew up and stayed mean.

Stern's definitely got better contacts than I do, but it'd be nice to get some confirmation of this. It'd be nice to see Lohan get a fresh start, and as long as she can stay out from behind bars this might be a good first step. But for now we gotta file this one away as a rumor.

Fun fact: Ms. Teschmacher was the inspiration for the TNA Knockout of the same name, played to sexy brilliance by Brooke Adams. She served as the hot, evil assistant to GM Eric Bischoff until she was released earlier this year.
