confirmed to not be returning for the Jon Chu-directed sequel, there were still a few questions about whether Joseph Gordon -Levitt would be back as Cobra Commander. Well JGL has discharged that idea, telling Collider that he won't be back. Not that I blame him. Chu's sequel, which may be titled Cobra Strikes, has an uphill climb ahead of it. Then again the Commander could just wear a mask the whole film, and frankly JGL didn't bring much to the table last time.* We can expect to see no end of hot, scantily clad babes cast as really attractive fish food in Piranha 3DD, but so far the vast majority of names we've heard have been dudes. Regular screenwriter Chris Morgan has already started work on the script, working closely with star Vin Diesel. The only question was whether or not Justin Lin would be back to direct. He's been at the helm for the last three wildly successful films, but has recently been attached to a 5th Terminator
