Rosario Dawson joins Danny Boyle's Trance; Vincent Cassel confirmed

Danny Boyle is slowly but surely piecing together Trance, his heist film he'll be squeezing in before the Olympics where he'll serve as director of the opening ceremonies. Up to this point we've only had one name confirmed, and two either passed or undecided. James McAvoy is definitely on board. Michael Fassbender was attached but dropped out, and Colin Firth appears to still be in talks. Those are some pretty big names, but that's what you get when you're an Academy Award winner.

It's about to get even better, though, as Deadline reports Rosario Dawson has joined the film, which follows an auction house employee named Simon(McAvoy) who teams up with a bunch of thieves on an art heist. When Simon hits his head and loses his memory of the stolen goods' location, the gang hires a hypnotist to decide if he's telling the truth or pulling a fast one.

Vincent Cassel(Black Swan) had been rumored for a role as the leader of the thieves, and now Deadline confirms he's won the job. Dawson will play a woman who forms a strange relationship with both he and McAvoy's character.

Don't expect to see Trance until at least 2013. Shooting will begin in just a couple of months, but will go on hiatus while he works the Olympic Games.
