I wonder if sales of Purell will skyrocket after Contagion hits theaters, because after the trailer all I wanted to do was sanitize my entire body and hide in my own personal plastic bubble. Six brand new, terror inducing character posters have been released for Steven Soderbergh's virus outbreak thriller, featuring just a fraction of the cast only a pro like Soderbergh could put together.
Between the trailer from a couple of weeks ago and that poster, it doesn't look like things turn out so hot for Paltrow's character. We'll find out what really happens to her and everybody else when Contagion hits theaters on September 9th!
PLOT
Contagion follows the rapid progress of a lethal airborne virus that kills within days. As the fast-moving epidemic grows, the worldwide medical community races to find a cure and control the panic that spreads faster than the virus itself. At the same time, ordinary people struggle to survive in a society coming apart.
