Will Smith and M. Night Shyamalan's One Thousand A.E. nails down a release date

I keep hoping that the next film will be M. Night Shyamalan's big comeback. The film that will shut up the haters who have been savaging his work ever since The Village back in 2004. Not that he doesnt' deserve it. His movies have been shit ever since. Period. But I think the way some people are enjoying watching him fail is bordering on excessive. Perhaps his best and last chance to redeem himself will come with the aid of the biggest moviestar on the planet, Will Smith.

The two have been slowly piecing together One Thousand A.E.(not to be confused with Titan AE!), which would star Will and his son Jaden in a futuristic story about a father and son(shocking!!) who crash land on a far off planet.

Details are about as under wraps as they get beyond that, but at least we now have a release date: June 7th 2013. Not Will's typical 4th of July weekend, but close enough. That puts it one week ahead of Zack Snyder's Man of Steel, so June is already shaping up to be a serious moneymaker.
