New clip from Cameron Crowe's We Bought a Zoo

This past weekend a number of folks had a chance to attend a sneak preview of Cameron Crowe's latest film, We Bought a Zoo. Unfortunately I couldn't attend, but from everything I've heard it's a "return to form" for Crowe, with his usual blend of great eclectic music, humor, and characters experiencing a personal crossroads in their lives. My homie Jack Giroux over at Film School Rejects calls it the "feel frickin' great" movie of the season(read his brief review here).

Based on the memoir by Benjamin Mee, the story centers around a single father(Matt Damon) who realizes his struggling family needs a serious change. So he uproots his two kids and buys a dilapidated old wildlife reserve, and with the help of a quirky crew he and his family begin to repair the place while also rebuilding their own lives.  Scarlett Johansson, Elle Fanning, Thomas Haden Church, Patrick Fugit, JB Smoove, and Colin Ford make up the supporting cast.

Yahoo Movies has released a new clip from the film, featuring Haden Church taking Damon to task for taking on such a massive job, until he's distracted by the presence of Johansson's character. Check that out below....

We Bought a Zoo opens on December 23rd!
