Looking like a cross between Twin Peaks and anything by Tim Burton comes the trailer for Elfie Hopkins, a film from director Ryan Andrews(Beast Hunters) and starring Jaime Winstone. You might know her father, Ray Winstone, who has been bruising his way through crime movies like Sexy Beast, 44 Inch Chest, and the unfortunate Edge of Darkness. Jaime's been making a name for herself, though, starring in the underrated thriller, Donkey Punch(forget the name, just watch it), and most recently appearing in Made in Dagenham.Alongside Jaime and Ray, Rupert Evans, Kimberley Nixon, and Kate Magowan co-star.
Elfie Hopkins follows a quirky teen detective who becomes obsessed with investigating her new neighbors, The Gammons, who may or may not be cannibals. I'm guessing on the latter. No release date has been nailed down yet, but hopefully we'll see it in 2012. Check out the trailer below....
