1st look at Bachelorette, starring Kirsten Dunst, Lizzy Caplan, and Isla Fisher
One of my great pleasures of this year has been watching Kirsten Dunst really come into her own as a mature, legit A-list actress. After teasing her evolution last year with All Good Things, she truly knocked it out of the park in Melancholia, and has followed it up with a number of interesting projects that should keep her busy for a long time. One of those was the low budget indie comedy, Bachelorette, from writer/director Leslye Headland(Terriers).
With Sundance right around the corner, we're getting our first look at the film which also features the stellar cast of Isla Fisher, James Marsden, Rebel Wilson(Bridesmaids), Lizzy Caplan and Adam Scott(both from Party Down). The story focuses on three former high school mean girls invited to be bridesmaids for a member of their clique they used to call "Pigface". I'm guessing Wilson will be "Pigface". Call it a hunch. Adam McKay and Will Ferrell are serving as producers....
