The trailers for Russian set alien invasion flick, The Darkest Hour, haven't been all that great. Great idea, with a bunch of young Americans(Emile Hirsch, Olivia Thirlby, Max Minghella) trapped in Moscow as a bunch of invisible extraterrestrials try to take over the world. But a loud, blaring soundtrack and clips that make the film look more cheesy than terrifying haven't done it any justice.
Fortunately the marketing boys have done a good job with the posters, starting with the cool 3D motion sheet from a couple months ago, and now these cool promotional "warning signs".There's also a new TV spot, which you can check out below, ahead of the film's release on Christmas Day.
