Liam Neeson: "Man's Man". I bet you never would've put those two things together back when he was cleaning up after Justine Bateman in Satisfaction, would you? Even as Qui-Gon Jinn he was like the wussiest Jedi ever, who took a saber to the chest from the most overrated Star Wars villain ever. But Taken changed all that back in 2008, with Neeson showing that the old guy not only has a few new tricks, he has a very special set of skills which he can break out to kick the arse of some young whippersnapper.
He'll get another chance to show how much tougher he is than you and me when The Grey opens on January 27th. Neeson stars as one of a bunch of dudes(the others are just wolf bait) who are stranded in Alaska when their plane crashes, and have to fend off the cold and the environment's natural predators to survive. If you're thinking this sounds a lot like Alive, then you'll think again when you see Neeson taping broken glass to his knuckles for a little man vs. wolf brawl. The film is directed by Joe Carnahan, pairing back up with his A-Team star. Check out the trailer below....
