*UPDATE* Is this the first poster for Ridley Scott's Prometheus?

*UPDATE: Shocktilyoudrop have confirmed the image is legit, and I've updated the image with the high res version.

Alien Prequel News have been sent an image of what may be the first official poster for Ridley Scott's Alien prequel/reboot, Prometheus. The shot is pretty grainy, but it appears to be legit. The film has been shrouded in secrecy since it was first announced, but we're starting to learn and see more in fits and starts. We saw a handful of new images just a couple of weeks ago, and there's talk of a trailer showing up in the coming weeks.

The poster appears to feature the "giant head" that we've seen in previous images, but it's the tagline that has me convinced this is real, as it sounds just like something a studio would offer...

"The search for our beginning could lead to our end"

We'll find out how much of this is true soon, I'm sure. Honestly, I feel like the less I know about Prometheus the better. Hopefully if more images and the trailer do come out they don't reveal too much. The film is slated to open on June 8th 2012.
