James Bond is lonely in his speedo in first official 'Skyfall' pic

Compared to some of the great 1st look photos we've seen over the last few weeks, this first official image of Daniel Craig in Skyfall is pretty damn boring. It's so forgettable that I...well, forgot to put it up when it came out a couple of days ago. Oops.  This is hardly the way to get people excited for a Sam Mendes James Bond flick, considering some have a lot of doubt he's the right guy for a franchise like this. Nobody wants this to be Jarhead, Bond-style. 

We do learn a couple of things from this pic, though. For one, Daniel Craig has been stealing a page from my own workout regiment, because dude has great pecs. And second, even James Bond can get a little lonely. Even while wearing a powder blue Speedo™. Poor guy. This is what happens when all of your women get killed, turn out to be evil, or refuse to sign multi-picture deals. 

Skyfall stars Craig, Judi Dench, Ralph Fiennes, Javier Bardem, Naomie Harris, Berenice Marlohe, Helen McCrory, and Ben Whishaw in a story that sees Bond's loyalty to MI6 tested when a threat from M's past comes back to haunt them.  Skyfall will hopefully turn out to be more exciting than this when it opens on November 9th.
