Kim Ji-Woon heads back to Korea for 'The Fall of Humanity'

It doesn't get much more Hollywood than directing a neo-Western Arnold Schwarzenegger flick like The Last Stand, but that's exactly what South Korean filmmaker Kim Ji-Woon(I Saw the Devil) has been doing these last few months. I found his arrival to our shores to be tremendously exciting, and perhaps it still may be, but it looks like at least for his next film, Ji-Woon will be returning home to Korea.

Han Cinema(via Twitch) has revealed that his next film is titled The Fall of Humanity, and looks to be some sort of collaboration with Yim Pil-Sung, director of the excellent Antarctic Journal. It's unclear whether it's a co-directing gig or if Pil-Sung is just handling scripting chores, but who cares? That's a hell of a combination either way.

Nothing is known about what the story would entail, but details will likely be available shortly.
