Woody Harrelson looks wasted in new image from 'The Hunger Games'

The LA Times just unveiled about a gazillion photos on upcoming flicks, so there might be a slight flood of them coming your way here. At least of the ones I have a passing interest in. One of those I'm definitely looking forward to is The Hunger Games, Gary Ross' adaptation of Suzanne Collins militaristic novels, and Lionsgate's greatest hope for a tween franchise to call their own.

The latest image shows Katniss Everdeen(Jennifer Lawrence), Effie Trinket(Elizabeth Banks), and Haymitch(Woody Harrelson) looking like they need a good stiff drink to get through whatever they are watching. I'm not totally certain, but this might be the scene where they're going back through some old Hunger Games footage and seeing just how brutal the competition can be.

For the uninitiated, The Hunger Games is set in a future version of North America known as Panem, which is comprised of 12 mostly poor districts ruled by one governing Capital. The Capital, as a means of exacting revenge for a years old uprising, forces each district to put up two of their youngest to compete in The Hunger Games, an annual competition in which they are forced to fight and kill one another until only one remains.

March 23rd can't get here fast enough!
