Al Pacino, Christopher Walken, and Alan Arkin are 'Stand Up Guys'

In case you haven't noticed, action movies with old people are so in right now. Whether it's Taken, Red, or The Expendables, Hollywood is making some serious bank off the Cocoon demo. Get ready for one more, as Al Pacino, Alan Arkin, and Christopher Walken are set to star in Stand Up Guys, which sounds a lot like The Crew meets Pineapple Express.

With a script by newcomer Noah Haidle and with actor/director Fisher Stevens(Crazy Love) behind the camera, the film follows two best friends and lifelong criminals enjoying one last night of going buck wild, hitting up brothels, stealing cars, and getting on the wrong side of the law, but also facing the choices they made in their lives. Of course.  The catch is that one of them has been hired to kill his friend. Well that might put a damper on the evening.

The cast should make this better than it sounds, but none of these guys are beyond doing some atrocious stuff. This is Haidle's first major script, so I don't know whether to be worried about that or not, but Stevens is generally a solid director.

Filming is set to begin in April.
