You got jipped if you only saw the John Carter TV spot on...well, television. The online version is a full minute long, and I have to say it's much better. Even with it's huge budget, reportedly more than $250M, the film has felt sorta flat to me, like the worst elements of The Phantom Menace. Dry, barren landscapes and CGI creatures that just seemed lifeless. A lot of this is going to rest on the shoulders of it's star, Taylor Kitsch, who is having quite the evening after being featured in the Battleship clip as well.
John Carter opens on March 9th, but for now check out this extended TV spot...
