'Kingdom Hearts 3D: Dream Drop Distance' 10-minute trailer!

Yeah, this is for a video game, but we dabble in many things around here, and one of my great loves is the Kingdom Hearts series of video games from Square Enix. When people ask me what I think a possible Disney/Marvel  crossover film will look like, I point them in the direction of Kingdom Hearts, which follows one boy's journey through time, space, and alternate worlds populated by famous Disney characters as well as those from Sony's Final Fantasy role playing games.

To me, Kingdom Hearts is the most cinematic video game franchise out there, with wide scope action, an amazing soundtrack, and a rich history only made deeper by the presence of so many familiar characters. With Kingdom Hearts 3D: Dream Drop Distance set to hit the Nintendo 3DS on July 31st, a full 10-minute trailer has been released. Our hero, Sora, is on another epic quest, and finding himself at one point trapped in the Grid from Tron: Legacy, including some fairly accurate depictions of Garrett Hedlund, Jeff Bridges, and Olivia Wilde. The worlds of Pinocchio, Fantasia, and Disney's Three Musketeers are also a part of the journey. I can't wait, but desperately hope they'll move the franchise back onto the Xbox 360 console at some point.....
