New 'Total Recall' images revealed

Here's what I'm figuring out about Len Wiseman's upcoming version of Total Recall: there's going to be lots of people waving guns around. Every still image is essentially the same. I hesitate to call the film a remake of the 1990 Paul Verhoeven flick with Arnold Schwarzenegger, because it really isn't. It's a closer adaptation of Philip K. Dick's story, We Can Remember It for you Wholesale, and thus lacks many of the far out elements of the previous film. There's no Mars, for instance, but hopefully they'll find a way to keep the lady with three boobs.

A handful of new images have been added to the Total Recall official site, which you can check out below. A couple of them are updated versions of stuff we've already seen, but others give us a better look at Jessica Biel as Melina, a woman with ties to regular guy Douglas Quaid's past. Colin Farrell plays Quaid, with Kate Beckinsale, Bryan Cranston, John Cho, Bill Nighy, Bokeem Woodbine, and Ethan Hawke co-starring. In the Biel image, it does seem like one of the soldiers is getting an illuminated look at her ass, which I can hardly blame the guy for. Total Recall opens on August 3rd....
