If there's one visual aspect of Christopher Nolan's Batman trilogy that clearly set's it apart from any previous take on the Caped Crusader it's the vehicles. I actually didn't realize how important the Tumbler and Bat-Pod were in establishing the real world feel of the films until I started writing this, think about it, nothing else is radically different from what was previously done. That one small change making Bruce drive a prototype military vehicle instead of a weaponized Lamborghini grounds everything else making it easier to believe the more outlandish gadgets tucked away by Lucious Fox. This isn't even to mention that changing one of the most iconic facets of Batman lore could've sparked nerdrage (Bat Nipples anyone?), but if you do something right people will jump on board.

The Dark Knight Rises hits theaters July 20th
