Jude Law joins Naomi Watts and Robert Pattinson in Werner Herzog's 'Queen of the Desert'

So a double-dose of good news this weekend. Not only is Werner Herzog's Gertrude Bell biopic Queen of the Desert definitely moving forward now with filming to begin next March, but we're also getting a mini I Heart Huckabees reunion with Jude Law joining to star alongside Naomi Watts. Sweet.

Last month we learned that Herzog would be taking on an adaptation of the school-shooting satire, Vernon God Little, and it was labeled as next on his agenda, which threw Queen of the Desert into some doubt. Watts will play Bell, the famous and controversial British attache, spy, writer, and political activist integral in establishing the Hashemite dynasties in Jordan and Iraq. Robert Pattinson will play T.E. Lawrence aka "Lawrence of Arabia", while Law's role is unclear right now.

Law will be plenty busy over the next few months, with Wes Andersons' The Grand Budapest Hotel filming in Germany at the beginning of the year. [Deadline]
