Is Luke Skywalker building a new Jedi Academy in 'Star Wars Episode 7'?

There hasn't been any juicy Star Wars 7 rumors in awhile, so feast on this one. There's been a lot of talk about Mark Hamill returning as Luke Skywalker, and he seems more than willing to break out his lightsaber and come back. But in what capacity? Hamill's no spring chicken, and the idea of him bounding around fighting the Sith doesn't seem all that likely. But maybe we could see Skywalker in more of a mentor role?

In a Reuters story about the Mayan temple in Guatemala that served as the rebel base on Yavin, they dropped this potential whopper.....

Yavin 4 and the rebel base return to the 'Star Wars' plot in the forthcoming Episode VII, announced in October by the Walt Disney Co, in which Skywalker comes back to the planet to build a Jedi Knight academy. However, fans said that Disney will likely film those scenes in a studio rather than return to Tikal.

Ok, now this is essentially the plot of the Jedi Academy trilogy of novels, when Luke resigns from the Republic and establishes a new Jedi Order on Yavin 4. There's no reason to believe the Reuters report, though, as it isn't sourced. But...I have to tell you, I think there may be more to this than some are willing to admit. Michael Arndt's script is supposedly an original one, but that doesn't mean he won't incorporate some elements from other sources. If you listen to some, like in the recent issue of Empire, this was George Lucas' plan all along.

So what do we know now that's concrete? Not much, except that Star Wars Episode VII will probably be spending a few days in Guatemala.
