Michael Bay says that leaked 'Transformers 4' script is fake

A couple of days ago, Unleash the Fanboy hit the web with what they claimed was the script for Transformers 4, acquired on the sly by some document recovery guy whose first thought was "I gotta get this to Unleash the Fanboy, stat!".  Despite the uliklihood of it being legit, there was no denying it seemed like the type of story that would fit into the Transformers universe neatly. There was mention of a special forces character for Mark Wahlberg, a pair of rowdy kids, the planet-devouring Unicron as the villain, Dinobots showing up, and a few other surprises as well.

Michael Bay doesn't buy it, though, and took to his blog to say the script is an utter phony....

Bay: "Some Internet sites this morning reported that some document recovery guy has found a legitimate 120 page script of Transformers 4. I can absolutely 100 percent say this is completely false. The only two people in the world that have our unfinished script are Kruger and myself. Also we are only up to page 70 in our T4 script. Maybe this guy has a cartoon or something else – but definitely not our movie!"

Oh well. Kind of a shame, really. It sounded pretty cool. Maybe too cool? It was sortof like a Transformers fanboy wish list now that I think about it.  Whatever direction Bay decides to go in, we'll see the end result on June 27th 2014.
