Arnold Schwarzenegger's getting old in new clip and poster for 'The Last Stand'
It's laughable to hear guys like Sylvester Stallone, Bruce Willis, and Arnold Schwarzenegger talk about their aching bones after a movie shoot. They talk like they're Jackie Chan and still hurling themselves off of buildings or something, when that's obviously not the case. Take for example this new clip from The Last Stand, in which some clever editing is used to hide the fact that ol' Arnold isn't really doing all that much in the way of physical activity. He saves that for the housemaids.
Directed by South Korea's Kim Ji-Woon, who can do much better work than this, the film has Schwarzenegger as a small town Sheriff rallying his young force to stop an armed crimelord's escape to the Mexico border. A new poster has been revealed, as well, and it seems they're really trying to up the profile of Johnny Knoxville in this film for some reason. Also in this clip is Jaimie Alexander, who will be moving on to much bigger action flicks as Sif in Thor: The Dark World.
The Last Stand arrives on January 24th. [IGN]
