Two new clips from Hansel and Gretel: Witch Hunters have landed online, to go along with the two trailers that hit within the last few days. Directed by Tommy Wirkola, the film stars Jeremy Renner and Gemma Arterton as grown up versions of the fairy tale kids, who have apparently built some cool weapons, found some Matrixy outfits, and learned to drop bad one-liners while hunting witches. Getting tossed into an oven makes one vengeful and quippy.
The first clip has Hansel discovering the same old gingerbread house where the childhood event occurred, warning his companions to not any candy they find. It'd probably be stale by the looks of things, anyway. The second is a face-off between Gretel and the big bad witch of the film, played by Famke Janssen. She always makes for a great villain.
Hansel and Gretel: Witch Hunters opens on January 25th.
