New posters for 'Gravity', 'The Hangover Part III', and 'Inside Llewyn Davis'

After numerous delays, we're on the verge of finally getting a real look at Gravity, the new sci-fi film from Children of Men director, Alfonso Cuaron. The trailer should hit the web soon (with my luck probably as I'm writing this), but for now we have the first poster, which comes with warning: "Don't Let Go". Starring Sandra Bullock and George Clooney, the story follows astronauts Ryan Stone and Matt Kowalsky, who are stranded in deep space when their shuttle is destroyed during a space walk. Tethered to nothing but each other, they must figure out a way to get home. Talk of an incredible, 17-minute tracking shot has had many salivating at the possibilities, but until we see more maybe it's best to stay on an even keel about this. Gravity opens on October 4th.

Warner Bros. recently bumped up the release date for The Hangover Part III a day to May 23rd, so now you won't have to make that brain-racking choice between it and Fast & Furious 6. I can hear your deep sigh of relief from here. Continuing the run of character posters for pretty much everybody in the cast, two more have been released featuring Bradley Cooper as Phil, and Zach Galifianakis as Alan. So where's the Mike Epps "Black Doug" poster? He can't get any love?

There aren't many filmmakers out there who can make a movie about folk music interesting, much less one of the more anticipated of the year. One is Christopher Guest (A Mighty Wind), and the others are Joel and Ethan Coen. Yesterday saw the new red band trailer for the folk musical, which stars Oscar Isaac as the titular 1960s Greenwich Village musician, and at the same time a poster dropped right along with it. It's not much, but it lets you know the cast is pretty darn stacked with Carey Mulligan, Justin Timberlake, Garrett Hedlund, and John Goodman making up just a small part of it. Inside Llewyn Davis makes a run for Oscar gold beginning on December 6th, when it opens in limited release.
