New red band trailer for 'The Hangover Part III'

We wave goodbye to the Wolfpack for the final time when The Hangover Part III opens in less than a week, and Warner Bros. wants to remind you why that's such a big deal. Because we can always expect a red band trailer to hit in the days leading up to the release of a new comedy, the latest one for the conclusion to Todd Phillips' trilogy serves as a walk down memory lane.

Taking us through some of the best gags from the first two movies, the trailer serves as a pretty good reminder why we fell in love with Alan, Stu, Phil, and poor Doug as they went from one wacky escapade to the next. Expectations are pretty low after the poorly-received second film, and it's a potential risk to show just how far the series fell off so quickly. At least when it gets to footage from the finale it's clear that Todd Phillips has broken from the formula, which is reason enough for confidence. The best part may be the return of Mike Epps as Black Doug, who apparently hasn't learned to love his nickname.

Starring Bradley Cooper, Zach Galifianakis, Ed Helms, Justin Bartha, Ken Jeong, John Goodman, and Heather Graham, The Hangover Part III opens on May 23rd.
