Sure Shots: Anna Kendrick; Bruce Willis; Garrett Hedlund

*No, I'm not really all that excited for Zach Braff's Kickstarter-funded Wish I Was Here, but now he's made it so I have to pay attention to it. Anna Kendrick has joined his sophomore drama, which currently has Braff starring alongside Josh Gad and Mandy "My name is Inigo Montoya" Patinkin. Braff plays a struggling 35-year old father, husband, and actor. Kendrick will play Janine, a young cosplayer and the love interest of Braff's brother, played by Gad. Kendrick will be seen next in the dreadful-looking comedy Rapturepalooza. [TheWrap]

* Bruce Willis has made three awful films with the producing duo of Emmett/Furla: 16 Blocks, the gambling comedy Lay the Favorite, and Fire with Fire, which went straight to DVD shelves. But that's not going to stop them from working together again, mainly because Willis will do pretty much anything that earns a paycheck. He'll star in Expiration, in which he'll plays a poisoned hitman in search of a cure. Ugh. No director at this point, but it will be written by Brian Tucker, who wrote Broken City. [TheWrap]

* Oscar-winning writer William Monahan (The Departed) is pushing ahead with his next directorial effort, Mojave, although he's going to have to do it without the previously attached Jason Clarke, who has been forced to drop out. Fortunately, he's found a replacement in Garrett Hedlund, who will join Oscar Isaac in the story of a suicidal artist who encounters a homicidal doppelganger in the desert.
