The long-awaited conclusion to Edgar Wright and Simon Pegg's "Three Flavours Cornetto" trilogy arrives this summer with The World's End, and unlike Shaun of the Dead or Hot Fuzz, there are elements of the story needing to be kept under wraps. We know the basic gist, that it follows five old friends attempting to recreate an epic pub crawl from their youth, only to discover that the fate of the world is at stake. But any attempt to keep further details secret just flew out the window with the latest trailer, which gives away the full nature of the threat they face. There's a nice nostalgic touch by revisiting the first two films, and clearly there are going to be plenty of call backs to some of the old gags, but for those who want to go in as clear as possible this may be a trailer to avoid.
Also starring Rosamund Pike, Martin Freeman, Paddy Considine, and Eddie Marsan, The World's End opens on August 23rd.
