'Sin City: A Dame to Kill For' Pushed Back To August 2014

Robert Rodriguez led Sin City fans by the nose for seven years, promising a sequel every few months until people just kind of stopped expecting it. And then finally the film was happening, and Sin City: A Dame to Kill For was set for this October, just a month after his Machete Kills. But those who have been waiting this long will have to wait awhile longer, like practically an entire year, as the film has been bumped to August 22nd 2014.

The Weinstein Company didn't give a reason for the move, but one has to think it was affected by Rodriguez trying to shoot two films so close together. Hey, you've waited eight years for it, so what's one more? Let's just hope it's worth it.

The ensemble includes Josh Brolin (replacing Clive Owen), Eva Green, Mickey Rourke, Jessica Alba, Bruce Willis, Rosario Dawson, Jaime King, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Dennis Haysbert, Christopher Meloni, Jeremy Piven, Ray Liotta, Juno Temple, Stacy Keach, and Julia Garner.
