First Trailer For Horror Comedy 'Hell Baby' Starring Rob Corddry and Leslie Bibb

You won't be surprised to learn that the fall is going to be chock full of horror movies, but Hell Baby promises to be different from the whole lot of them. Written and directed by Thomas Lennon and Robert Ben Garant, creators of Reno 911! and writers of the Night at the Museum franchise, it's a horror comedy that stars comic stalwarts Rob Corddry and Leslie Bibb as an expectant couple who move into a rundown haunted house New Orleans.

After making its premiere at Sundance, the first trailer has finally been released and it's basically one cringe-worthy gag after another. That pretty much defines the entire film, which I caught at the festival and enjoyed for about 45 minutes. The only problem is the movie is twice that long. The cast is great, though, with Keegan Michael Key a stand out as their nosy Creole neighbor, and there are some cheap lowbrow laughs from Lennon and Garant as elite exorcists sent by the Vatican when the wife's child turns out to be possessed by Satan.

Hell Baby co-stars Michael Ian Black, Riki Lindhome, Paul Scheer and Rob Huebel, and will haunt theaters on September 6th.
