Is Megan Fox Returning for 'Transformers 4'?

Insulting your boss is never the wisest career move, but referring to them as Hitler is practically career suicide. Especially in the ego-driven world of Hollywood it's a dangerous gamble, and when Megan Fox referred to Michael Bay as the Nazi leader it got her booted from the Transformers franchise that had made her famous. But time heals some wounds, and they made up in time for Bay to cast her as April O'Neil in his upcoming Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles movie, which is in production right now. Now that they're chummy again, would Bay consider bringing Fox's Mikaela Barnes character back into the world of Autobots and Decepticons? A recent online incident suggests that could be the case.

A couple of days ago, Bay released an image of the 2013 Lamborghini Aventador that will be in Transformers 4. Soon after, Paramount's official Instagram account posted it to Bay'as well, only with the added hashtag #MeganFox. The administrator of Bay's Shoot the Edit forum tried to brush it aside as a simple error, but soon conceded that "Someone's in trouble. It's gonna be a long week", and the image was subsequently removed.

Paramount's actions are certainly suspicious, and the speed with which they took down the image says a lot. Something is clearly up, it's just not clear what. But there's no confirmation of anything yet, so we'll just have to wait and see what develops. We may be seeing Fox behind the wheel of a Transformer yet again, although I doubt Mark Wahlberg will be in need of rescue the way Shia LaBeouf always seemed to.
