There has been a lot of buzz surrounding the Warner Bros. panel happening today at Comic-Con, and it's all surrounding the announcement of a Batman and Superman team-up film for 2015. The rumor has been floating around for weeks that they may consider doing a "World's Finest" film, which would pair DC's two greatest heroes together, as a sort of lead-in to a potential Justice League movie. “Man of Steel” director Zack Snyder is expected to reunite with screenwriter David S. Goyer and star Henry Cavill for the new film. It’s unlikely Christian Bale will step back into the bat suit, as the actor has indicated publicly that he has moved on from his days as Bruce Wayne.
“Man of Steel” producer and “Dark Knight” trilogy director Christopher Nolan is expected by some to produce the project, but the exact nature of his involvement is unclear.
It sounds as if this would essentially be Man of Steel 2, which makes perfect sense if WB wants to build their superhero universe. More on this as it develops.
