Dinobots Rumored Part of Today's 'Transformers 4' Filming; Plus New Set Image

File this away under "I'll believe it when I see it", but Comingsoon has heard that today's filming of Transformers 4 will include a scene with the Dinobots. Easily the most popular Transformers of all, the Dinobots have been rumored for every one of Michael Bay's films, with a similar story emerging a few months ago.  Shooting is said to take place at Chicago's McCormick Square, which should be fertile ground for Grimlock, Snarl, and the rest to trample. Chances are there won't be much to actually see, but we can probably expect some sort of confirmation whether this was true by the end of today. If it is, there are going to be a ton of fans who are going to want to send Michael Bay "Thank You" cards. I would caution them to remember that he's rendered other popular Transformers practically unrecognizable. What he did to my poor Soundwave is inexcusable.

Bay also released a new set image, and a pretty triumphant one at that. Exactly what that is standing behind him, Jack Reynor, Mark Wahlberg, and the crew is unknown but it looks one of Unicron's horns. Couldn't be, could it? Probably not.

Transformers 4 opens on June 27th 2014.
