Domhnall Gleeson is 'Unbroken'; Tye Sheridan is 'The Forger'; Jamie Pressly Enters 'A Haunted House 2'

* Domhnall Gleeson, still probably best known as one of the Weasley brothers in the Harry Potter series, has joined Jack O'Connell in Angelina Jolie's next directorial effort, Unbroken. The incredible true story, based on the book by Laura Hillenbrand, is of Olympic track star-turned-POW Lou Zamperini who survived a plane crash only to become a prisoner at a Japanese prison camp during WWII. O'Connell will play the young Zamperini, with Gleeson as Phil, another who survived the crash and drifted on a life raft with him for 47 days. Also joining the cast is up 'n comer Finn Wittrock (All My Children) as Mac, another aboard the raft. Gleeson is just coming off an acclaimed performance in Anna Karenina, and will be seen later this year in About Time opposite Rachel McAdams. [Deadline]

* Just days after signing on for an adaptation of Gillian Flynn's Dark Places, Tye Sheridan (Mud, The Tree of Life) has agreed to join John Travolta in The Forger. The heist drama directed by Philip Martin has Travolta as an art prodigy and thief who makes a deal to get out prison early and take care of his ill son (Sheridan), only to have the people responsible for his release rope him into one last job. Travolta hasn't done much worth talking about in forever, but at only 16-years-old Sheridan's career has taken off with a bullet. [THR]

* Oh quit your moaning. After Marlon Wayans' horror spoof A Haunted House cleared about $60M on a $2M budget, a sequel was inevitable. Announced months ago, the film goes into production tomorrow, and thus the cast has been rounded out with the additions of Jaime Pressly, Gabriel Iglesias, and Ashley Rickards. Wayans will again star, co-write- and produce, joined by the returning co-stars Essence Atkins, Affion Crockett and Dave Sheridan. Michael Tiddes is back to direct with a release date planned for next March. Excited yet? Pressly, who somehow found her way into that creepy Oogieloves movie last year, hasn't had a major big screen role since 2009's I Love You, Man. I always thought she was a talented comedic actress, and she was great on My Name is Earl all those years. Even though this film is likely to stink, maybe she can make a good enough impression that we start seeing her more often.
