Smell what Jennifer Lawrence is Cookin' in First 'American Hustle' Clip

In case you didn't know, Jennifer Lawrence has one of the most highly anticipated movies of the season coming out very soon. It's called American Hustle. Sorry, Hunger Games freaks, but American Hustle is one of the last potential Oscar contenders that nobody has seen yet since it didn't hit any festivals. With only a month left until it finally opens, the first clip has arrived, and nobody should be shocked that Lawrence is at the center of it.

Directed by David O. Russell and starring an incredible cast that includes Christian Bale, Amy Adams, Bradley Cooper, Jeremy Renner, Robert De Niro, Louis C.K., Michael Pena, and Jack Huston, the crime caper is based on the real-life Abscam scandal in which the FBI used criminals to help root out corruption. This scene takes back to the 1970s in the early days of the microwave, and Lawrence's character clearly hasn't been reading the instruction manual. Bale plays her husband, and when he's not on the business end of Lawrence's verbal barrage, he's busy figuring out a way to take down a bunch of shady politicians.

American Hustle hits theaters on Christmas Day.
