The Talent Show: Jaimie Alexander

If you're going to get your ass kicked by a super-powered Asgardian god, there are worst ways to go out than at the hands of Sif, as played by the sexy Jaimie Alexander in Thor: The Dark World. Before she was hanging out with the likes of Thor and Loki, Jaimie Alexander had been around for awhile, first catching my attention on the somewhat underrated series Kyle XY, before moving on to play the "final girl" in Rest Stop, a straight-to-DVD horror she made far better than it had any right to be.

Over the last few weeks there have been a lot of eyes on Alexander, for more than just the obvious reasons, but because it looks like her future in the superhero movie biz is extremely bright. Rumors of her playing Wonder Woman may not have panned out, but it's only because Marvel wants to keep her to themselves. They recognize that her beauty, talent, physicality, and attitude are a rare combination. And as if all that wasn't enough, she's also quite the comic book geek. Stick your tongues back in your heads, dudes.
