Michael B. Jordan Rumored for 'Batman vs. Superman' Role
Now that Michael B. Jordan is ready to flame on as the Human Torch in Fantastic Four the chances of him jumping into other superhero films are slim, but that won't stop the rumors from circulating. According to Latino Review, Batman vs. Superman is in need of an athletic African-American actor in his 20s for a role, and they say Jordan has met with Zack Snyder about it.
The important piece of the story is that it would be for a recurring role in the DC Universe, starting out with only a small part in Batman vs. Superman. So this sounds like a character who would appear in Justice League down the line. Speculation has already begun that the role could be for Victor Stone aka Cyborg, a character Jordan voiced in the animated Justice League: The Flashpoint Paradox. Some are also saying it could be for the John Stewart version of Green Lantern, although some are guessing (hoping?) Dwayne Johnson has that one sewn up.
Again, it's doubtful Jordan will be able to take up major characters from rival studios, but you never know. Anything could happen. Batman vs. Superman opens May 6th 2016.
